New Attendance Record Set at 2012 LA Golf Tournament

LOS ANGELES, Calif. - Rain could not dampen the fun had by the record-setting crowd of 175 at the Los Angeles Golf Tournament’s 20th Anniversary on April 26th at the Brookside Golf Course in Pasadena. 

Joining the festivities this year were SCU Alumni and celebrity guests Dan Pastorini ‘71, Mike Pereira ‘72 and Mike Carey ‘71 who delighted the crowd with an open ended Q & A program after dinner.

Topics of the Q & A session ranged from their experiences at Santa Clara (did Pastorini really throw a baseball over Swig?) to the New Orleans Saints bounty program.  This year’s big auction item was an  inside access tour of the FOX NFL Sunday Show hosted by Mike Pereira along with the opportunity to sit in with the Game Day studio crew.
