Evan Drabik was named Graduate Assistant Athletic Trainer at
Santa Clara University in July of 2012. He serves as the athletic
department’s primary medical contact for Bronco women’s
basketball, men’s rowing and men’s cross country and
Drabik graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in the Spring of 2012 where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Athletic Training. He worked with 11 different sports at UNCC in conjunction with other local universities and high schools evaluating and treating acute injuries, administering general medical treatment while also focusing on sports nutrition and rehabilitation.
He became Athletic Training Certified (ATC) on June 8, 2012. Drabik gained additional experience in the field as a research assistant at UNCC studying the effects of dual-task interference and those with or without chronic ankle instability.
Drabik is a native of Waterford, Conn. and is scheduled to receive a Master’s degree in Athletic Training from San Jose State University in 2014.
