Kathryn Hutchings is in her first year at Santa Clara. She joined the Department of Athletics and Recreation staff at Santa Clara University August, 10, 2011. 

 

Hutchings’ responsibilities include coordinating lifetime fitness programs, club sports, intramural sports and the annual Bronco Kidz All Sports Camp.

 

Previous to her current position, Kathryn served as the Event and Intramural Coordinator for the Office of Physical Education Recreation and Sports at UC Santa Cruz. 

 

Hutchings graduated in 1999 from Humboldt State University with a bachelor’s degree in Recreation and Business. 

 

Over the past 10 years she has worked at various institutions managing intramurals, club sports, youth programs, facility scheduling and event management.  She was the Assistant Director of Recreation at Fort Lewis College, the Coordinator of Club Sports at the University of Rhode Island, the Advisor of Intramurals, Club Sports, and Youth Programs at Western Washington University, and the Events and Intramural Coordinator at UCSC. 

 She is a Bay Area native from Monterey, Calif.
