Kellen Lee enters his first year working as the Santa Clara University Baseball Operations Assistant.
Lee started his college baseball career at Palomar College where he redshirted in 2007 and participated in 2008. He transferred to UC San Diego and started at catcher for Coach Dan O'Brien from 2009-2011. In those three seasons, the team won three consecutive CCAA Championships, reached the Division II College World Series twice, and was national runner up in 2010. In the 2010 season, Kellen was named to the ABCA All-American Third Team and earned the ABCA National Gold Glove for his defensive play behind the plate. He finished his career with a .996 fielding percentage, only committing three errors in three seasons. His career batting average was .306 and led his team in homeruns every season to end his career with 27. Lee graduated from UC San Diego with a double major in Communications and Psychology in 2011.
Kellen is from Vista, CA where he played high school baseball at Rancho Buena Vista.
