Santa Clara, Calif. – Santa Clara will play at least seven games televised on the ESPN family during the 2011-12 men's basketball season, with four ESPN games during West Coast Conference play as the WCC ESPN schedule was released on Monday. In 2012 the league schedule features the addition of ninth-member BYU and no travel partners so it is unique to the conference.
In addition to four league games on the ESPN family, Santa Clara will also play in the 76 Classic Nov. 24-25 and 27 at the Anaheim Convention Center in Anaheim, Calif. where its opening-round game vs. New Mexico will be shown on ESPNU on Nov. 24. Each game of the 76 Classic will be shown on the ESPN family throughout the weekend. Click here to see the 76 Classic bracket with game times.
"We're excited for the upcoming season and have begun our practices for our trip to Vancouver on September 5th," said Bronco head coach Kerry Keating. "The West Coast Conference is as good as its ever been and the ability to expose the teams on ESPN is great for fans all across the country."
