Freshman Ryan Masch Named the WCC Men's Soccer Player of the Week

SAN BRUNO, Calif. -
The West Coast Conference has named its men's soccer Player of the Week for September 17, 2012.

RYAN MASCH, FR., F, SANTA CLARA

Santa Clara freshman forward Ryan Masch (San Jose, Calif./Bellarmine Prep) is the West Coast Conference Player of the Week. Masch scored both of the Broncos' goals in a 2-1 win at Stanford on Sunday. Read the game story here.

Both of Masch's goals at Stanford, the Broncos' lone match of the week, came in the first half. The first came in the fourth minute from the top of the box. He now has three goals this season. The loss halted Stanford's two-match winning streak, including a 2-0 win over No. 11 UC Irvine.
