Broncos Ranked No. 54 in the Preseason National Rankings

SANTA CLARA, Calif. - The Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) released the 2011 preseason national rankings Tuesday, with the Santa Clara men's tennis team earning the No. 54. This is the highest preseason ITA national ranking in Santa Clara tennis history.
In player's individual rankings, Kyle Dandan earned No. 19 and Dandan / Nicholas Vinel doubles pair ranked No. 8 in northwest region.
Last year, the Broncos finished the season with an 18-7 dual season record, going 5-2 in West Coast Conference contests. SCU was the runner-up at the West Coast Conference Championship in April after facing 20-time conference champion Pepperdine. The team earned its highest ranking in March 2010 at No. 43, the highest ranking ever in program history.
