Head Coach Michelle Bento-Jackson
On tonight's game:
"We really challenged the team after Saturday's game and we couldn't have been happier with the way they responded to that challenge. They game out and played with intensity for all 40 minutes. We are truly proud of their effort."
On the points off the bench:
"They did not let up the momentum and intensity and that is what it is going to make us the better team. Both Claire and Nicole produced great scoring opportunities for us and we are excited for Kimee, Kathy and Maggie who played tremendous minutes for us."
On Elizabeth Doran's performance:
"Liz played within herself tonight and was very solid."
On Jen Gottschalk's rebounding:
"Tonight Jen was really focused on her defensive assignment and did not get a lot of touches. Yet, she had key rebounds for us in the few minutes that she did play."
On riding the six-game win streak into the New Year:
"We're going to watch a lot of film this week and have two very good practices later in the week to prepare for Bakersfield. It is going to be a very tough game."
Freshman Kathy Willinsky
On playing in her first collegiate game:
"It was really exciting and fun. Every game I hope for the opportunity to play and tonight was my night. It was even more special because my parents were able to see me play in my first college game."
