Women’s Golf To Host Colby Invitational Starting Monday
The Santa Clara women’s golf team will host the annual Colby Invitational beginning Monday at Silver Creek Valley Country Club in San Jose. The seven-team field will play 18 holes on both Monday and Tuesday on the 6,146 yard, par 72 course.

SCU Duo take on the Pure Silk Woman's Collegiate Team Championship
Although the NCAA season may be over for the Santa Clara woman’s golf team, but that does not mean all the action has stopped. Last week (July 23-25) senior Taylor Camany (TC) and sophomore Meghan Shain (MS) teamed up to play in the 4th annual Pure Silk Woman’s Collegiate Team Championship in Powell, Ohio.

Led By Only Hole In One Tuesday, Bronco Duo Finishes 8th At Summertime Collegiate Championship
Helped by a hole-in-one by Bronco sophomore Meghan Shain on Tuesday, the only one of the first day at the championship, the Bronco duo of senior Taylor Camany and Shain finished tied for eighth in the three-day 4th Annual Pure Silk Women's Collegiate Team Championships in Powell, Ohio. The Championship was sponsored by the Women's Golf Coaches Association and is considered the most unique summertime national women's amateur championship.

Two Broncos Honored as Women's Golf Coaches Association Academic All-Americans
Known for its excellence on and off the field, two more Santa Clara student-athletes received academic honors on Tuesday. Kaci McCartan and Ashley Noda were named Women’s Golf Coaches Association 2012-13 Academic All-Americans. The criteria for the honor are some of the most stringent in all of collegiate athletics with the minimum GPA being 3.50. McCartan has a 3.7 GPA as an engineering major and Noda has a 3.5 GPA as a business major.
