Bronco Women Lose in WCC Semifinals, 4-2

San Diego, Calif. – The Santa Clara women's tennis team lost 4-2 to the top ranked University of San Diego today, but will play for a chance at third place tomorrow at the Barnes Tennis Center.

Katie Le
defeated USD's No.1 singles and along with partner Jessica Agra tallied a doubles win as well. Maggie McGeorge and Kelly Lamble also won at the doubles No. 2 position to capture the doubles point, but the Toreros swept the Broncos at all other match ups.

"I'm really proud of the team," said head coach Ben Cabell. "We played really well, especially at doubles, which gave us a chance to win the match. USD is a great team though and they deserved to win."
