Women's Water Polo Hosts Fall Scrimmage November 16

SANTA CLARA, Calif.- Women's water polo will officially begin their preseason practices on Monday Oct. 7. The team has released their fall scrimmage schedule, which will take place at the Sullivan Aquatic center on Sat., Nov. 16.

This scrimmage takes place every year and is a great way for the Broncos to see how the measure up against some other teams before they officially begin their season in January. This year five other teams have been invited to participate in the scrimmages including long time Bay Area rival and old WWPA conference rival Cal State East Bay.

The Broncos will move from the WWPA to the Golden Coast Conference this season and there is a mixture of old conference teams and new conference teams. New conference rival Fresno Pacific will attend the scrimmages along with the University of the Pacific, along with old conference rivals Monterey Bay and Sonoma State. However, the Broncos are only scheduled to play East Bay and Sonoma State.

Be sure to come out and support your Broncos at 9 am in their first scrimmage against East Bay!
