SANTA CALRA, Calif. – Opening the conference home slate, Santa Clara softball welcomes Loyola Marymount for a three-game series beginning with a doubleheader Friday at 4 and 6 p.m. The two teams will close out the series Saturday at noon.
The Broncos won one of three at Saint Mary's over the weekend to begin West Coast Conference play.
The series begins a seven-game homestand for the Broncos.

Santa Clara (9-28, 1-2 WCC) is hitting .252 as a team and has scored 117 runs with 47 doubles, five triples, and six home runs.
Eleni Spirakis leads the team with a .358 average, two home runs, and 27 runs scored. She has also added nine doubles, a triple, and 10 RBIs. Sammy Needham is hitting .313 and leads the team with 13 doubles while scoring 11 runs and driving in 17. Regan Dias also has 17 RBIs and is batting .309 with 18 runs scored and Hannah Russell leads Santa Clara with 21 RBIs.
Lauren Anderson leads the Broncos in appearances (24), starts (17), innings pitched (83 2/3), and is tied for the lead in complete games (4). Dias also has four complete games and has tossed 79 innings while appearing in 19 games and making 14 starts. Lauren Schiek has two saves in 48 1/3 innings and Aubree Kim has tossed 25 1/3 innings.
Loyola Marymount (28-16, 4-2 WCC) has been outscored on the season 148-143. The Lions are batting .255 with 52 doubles, a triple, and 19 home runs and have a 3.02 team ERA.
Molly Grumbo leads the team with a .339 batting average and 27 runs scored while adding eight doubles, four home runs, and 14 RBIs. Andrea Gonzalez also has four home runs and eight doubles with a .315 average and 17 runs scored. Riley Ehlen's six home runs lead LMU, as do her 21 RBIs.
Hannah Bandimere has a 2.45 ERA in a team-high 117 innings with seven complete games and four shutouts. Samantha Manti has tossed 110 innings with a team-best 103 strikeouts and a 2.78 ERA. She has eight complete games and four shutouts.

Parking: For weekday games, the Leavey Center lot, located on Accolti Way off El Camino Real, is free beginning one hour prior to first pitch. Any other parking facility on campus will be subject to normal daily rates or restrictions, including the main structure, located on Palm Drive.
