Broncos Finish Fourth At WWPA's

SAN DIEGO, Calif. - Playing in the consolation game of the Western Water Polo Association Championships, No. 14 Santa Clara (17-17; 8-7 WWPA) fell to No. 10 LMU to finish in fourth place in 2011. The Broncos had a halftime lead of 5-3 after a goal with 16 seconds remaining in the half but LMU outscored Santa Clara 7-2 in the second half for the win.

Santa Clara got single goals from Daley Meistrell, David Guibord, Brett Zylstra, Matt Kochalko, Jimmy Moore, James Case and Kyle Surber. Goalkeeper Michael Wishart had eight blocks to end his Bronco career.
