Santa Clara, Calif. – The Santa Clara women's tennis team finished up the regular season with a 6-1 victory over USF today on the Degheri Courts. The Broncos enter the WCC Tournament 16-4 overall and 5-2 in the WCC.
The Broncos won all but one singles match today and swept in doubles play to secure the 5-2 victory. "It's nice to finish off the regular season with two good wins over a tough weekend," said head coach Ben Cabell.
The Broncos travel to San Diego this week to play in the WCC Tournament (Thursday April 21- Saturday 23). "We're excited to see what we can do in the conference tournament. We're looking for a chance to take out one of the top teams."
The tournament match ups are set to be announced Tuesday.
