No. 72 Santa Clara started the day in Provo on a high note, winning the doubles point and then finished off first-year member BYU in singles, winning three of the six singles matches.  The Bronco women move to 8-5 and are 2-0 in league play this year with their 6-1 win over USF on March 2 as well. The Cougars move to 5-11 and 1-2 in their first year of play in the WCC.

The Broncos return home to continue West Coast Conference action this weekend.  They will host Pepperdine on Fri., March 30 at 2 pm and then LMU on Sat., March 31 at 2 pm.

In Provo, Kelly Lamble and Kacie Wagner teamed up to win at No. 2 doubles, 8-5.  Stephanie Stephanie Skaras and Brittany Warly won at No. 3 doubles, 8-4.

No. 38 Katie Le defeated BYU's Desiree Tran 7-6 (2) and 6-4 at No. 1 singles. Also picking up victories for the Broncos on the singles courts were No. 5 Stephanie Skaras topping her opponent 6-4, 6-4 and Brittany Warly winning 6-4, 6-3 at No. 6 singles.
