STANFORD, Calif. - Tyler Abramson and Bennett Williams scored five times each to help lead Stanford to a 19-6 win over Santa Clara men's water polo on Saturday.
Ryan Werner and Arvin Bahia had two goals apiece, Scott Zurnacian had one goal and one assist for the Broncos (3-2) who had their three-game winning streak snapped.
The Cardinal scored three times with the man advantage in the opening half when they built a 12-1 lead.
Zurnacian and Camden Benson each drew a pair of kickouts Santa Clara went 0-for-3 on the power play in the opening 16 minutes.
NOTES
• Sam Toriggino, Patrick Kirk, Reilley May, Dane Estrella, Shane Hughes. Mac Carey and Keaton Fox started the game. That group has started all five games this season.
