SANTA CLARA, Calif. — Santa Clara track & field returns to competition Saturday for a pair of events in the Golden State. The Broncos will race at the Oxy Distance Carnival Spring Break Classic (Los Angeles – Bill Henry Track) and Aggie Open (Davis, California – Woody Wilson Track) to conclude a stretch of three straight weekends of racing.
"This is another great opportunity to get in some quality racing during the early part of the season," head coach Felipe Montoro said. "The races are competitive and we will do our best to come away with some heat wins."

Jack Davidson claimed his second Santa Clara track & field record on Saturday, March 2 at the Cal Opener. Davidson posted a 3:48.79, almost a second faster than his previous personal-best mark, to take third place in the men's 1,500-meter run. The Broncos faced a Bay Area slate of opposition in Cal, Saint Mary's, San Francisco and UC Davis at Edwards Stadium.
