SEATTLE, Wash - Guillaume Dalmasso defeated No. 120-ranked Dzianis Zharyn but that was the lone point Santa Clara men's tennis (6-4) could muster in the 6-1 defeat to Washington on Friday. 

Dalmasso took down Zharyn in three sets, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3 on court two after the match was already decided with the Huskies (7-3) picking up the first four team points.  

Jim Hendrikx beat former Washington player and three-time co-captain, Jack Pulliam, 6-3, 6-4, for the match clincher at court five.

Washington won both its doubles matches by the same score, 6-1, to take the doubles point.  Then proceeded to win the next three singles matches to secure the team win.
