RIVERSIDE, Calif. — The No. 17 Santa Clara University men's water polo team wrapped up a perfect weekend Saturday at the Lancer Joust with a 14-8 neutral-site win over former Western Water Polo Association foe Biola University at California Baptist's Lancer Aquatic Center.

The No. 17 Broncos (9-4) got goals from 10 different players to take down the Eagles (6-18). Santa Clara jumped on Biola, netting five goals in the first period alone to set the tone for the afternoon.

Zach Fales again led the charge for Santa Clara with two goals, his third multi-goal game in as many tries over the weekend.
Charlie Kosinski and
Ben Kyrillos also had two goals each.
Jason Alietti,
Luke Baird,
Max Hendrickson,
Connor Long,
Grant Roesch and
Harrison Villella all scored one goal each. Santa Clara led, 8-3 at halftime and 12-4 through three periods, not allowing more than two goals in any of the first three frames.

John Grasso was the standout player for Biola, netting three goals. The Eagles finished with a stronger fourth period, scoring four goals.
Harrison Labrosse made eight saves for Santa Clara, holding Biola to a .276 shooting percentage. Mitchell Carpenter also recorded eight saves for Biola.
