BERKELEY and LIVERMORE, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis wrapped up play on Sunday at the ITA Northwest Regional Championships and at the Academy of Art Hidden Dual.  The split Broncos squad picked up a singles win at the ITA Regionals and three doubles victories at the hidden dual.  

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• At the ITA Regionals, Tian Yu Dong and Velizara Fileva each played in an extra singles match where Dong beat Seattle's Natalia Michta 6-3, 6-2 while Fileva fell to Sacramento State's Madelyn Ferreros 6-1, 7-6 (7-2).  
• Over the course of three days, Dong won a total of three singles matches and also a doubles match while paired with Jillian Roa.  
• At the hidden dual, the Broncos had a strong showing in doubles where they swept all three matches against the Stanislaus State's doubles teams. 
• The doubles tandem of Kacey Feng and Anna Rahman, Jamie Pope and Juliette Krumholz, plus Anna Semler and Olivia Wiese each won their second doubles match of the the tournament on Sunday.   
• While there were no singles wins on Sunday, the Broncos were on the winning end in nine of the 17 singles matches over the three days that the hidden dual tournament took place. 
• Rahman, Pope, Feng and Wiese each had two singles victories at the tournament.
