SANTA CLARA, Calif. – The College Sports Communicators has selected Santa Clara women's tennis player Jillian Roa to the Academic All-District team. 

The 2024-25 Academic All-District Women's Tennis teams recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom. 

Eligible nominees must be in the lineup for 70 percent of an institution's days of competition (regional competition such as ITAs and non-team scored events do not count).

This is the second time Roa's been named as an All-District selection after being recognized at Nebraska. 

Roa, an All-West Coast Conference Doubles Honorable Mention selection this season, went 8-10 this spring including 4-2 in WCC play.  She was 7-8 atop the lineup. 

In singles, the senior went 10-8 in dual matches with all her wins coming on court four.
