DAVIS, Calif. – Anna Rahman was part of the doubles point clincher and the match clincher in the Santa Clara women's tennis 4-3 win over UC Davis on Friday at the Marya Welch Tennis Center.  Rahman clinched the team victory at 4-1 as both teams played on until all six singles matches were completed.  

HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Rahman teamed up with Daniella Dimitrova to defeat Isabella Bringas and Maya Youssef, 7-6 (7-4), on court two secure the doubles point after the two schools split the first two doubles matches.  
• Ashley Katz doubled the team lead to 2-0 with her singles win on court five over Aileena Hu 6-2, 6-2.  
• UC Davis (6-7) got a point back with a victory on court two but Dimitrova and Rahman shut the door with back-to-back victories on courts one and four.  
• Dimitrova downed Mika Ikemori 6-4, 6-0 and Rahman took care of Vivian Gallaway in three sets, 2-6, 6-2, 6-3.  
• Katz, Dimitrova and Rahman each won their doubles and singles matches for Santa Clara (2-5).
