MORAGA, Calif. – Lizanne Boyer got clinchers for both the doubles point and the match to help Santa Clara women's tennis shut out Saint Mary's 4-0 in a West Coast Conference match on Tuesday.  It was the Broncos' second straight league win on the road, having defeated Pacific 4-3 a day earlier.        
   
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Boyer teamed up with Juliette Krumholz to secure the doubles point for Santa Clara (7-13, 3-4 WCC) defeating Sophie Stanton and Sydney Wilson 6-4 on court three.  
• Krumholz also beat Stanton in singles, 6-3, 6-2 on court six to give the Broncos a 2-0 lead.
• Playing on court four, Ashley Katz pushed the SCU advantage to 3-0 with a 6-1, 3-6, 6-0 win over Madison Weekley.  
• Boyer put the finishing touches to the shutout victory taking down Tiana Fox 6-4, 1-6, 6-2 on court two.  
• Saint Mary's dropped to 7-12 on the year including 3-4 in WCC action.
