SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis blanked Gonzaga 4-0 in the final regular season match of the season on Friday at the Degheri Tennis Center behind doubles and singles wins by Lizanne Boyer, Daniella Dimitrova and Juliette Krumholz.  Prior to the match, five Broncos - Boyer, Dimitrova, Tian Yu Dong, Jamie Pope and Anna Semler - were recognized as part of the Senior Day ceremony.  
          
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Santa Clara (8-14, 4-5 WCC) was in complete control of the match from the get-go, sweeping the doubles point and the first three singles matches.  
• The tandem of Boyer and Krumholz won their fourth straight match beating Elizabeth Tindera and Diana Yanotovskaya 6-3 on court three.  Dimitrova and Anna Rahman claimed the doubles point defeating Rose Hayes and Sveva Zerpelloni 6-2 on court two.
• Krumholz continued her strong play at singles No. 6 with a straight set victory past Karla Brown 6-2, 6-1.  It was the sophomore's fourth consecutive win in singles also.
• Dimitrova pushed the lead out to 3-0 taking down Emily Robertson 6-0, 6-2 atop the lineup.. 
• On court two, Boyer was pushed in the first set before eventually winning the tiebreaker 7-6 (7-5) and blanked Sveva Zerpelloni in the second set 6-0 to clinch the team victory.  
• Gonzaga dropped to 9-12 overall and 1-7 in league action.
