SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis players Lizanne Boyer and Anna Rahman has been named College Sports Communicators Academic All-District.
The 2025-26 Academic All-District Women's Tennis teams, selected by College Sports Communicators, recognize the nation's top student-athletes for their combined performances on the court and in the classroom.
Eligible nominees must be in the lineup for 75 percent of an institution's days of competition (regional competition such as ITAs and non-team scored events do not count) with a cumulative grade point average of 3.50 or better.
This is the first time Boyer and Rahman have been named CSC Academic All-District.
Boyer had an undergraduate GPA of 3.750 at Texas A&M and currently holds a 4.000 GPA in Master of Arts in Educational Leadership. This spring, the Dallas, Texas native posted a record of 8-14 in singles and 10-12 in doubles. She led the team with 10 doubles victories including six in West Coast Conference action and was named WCC Doubles Team of the Week along with Juliette Krumholz on April 21, taking all four matches during that week.
Rahman has a 3.879 GPA in economics and was named WCC All-Academic honorable mention. In the spring, she tied for second on the team in both singles (10) and doubles (6) wins. The Tokyo, Japan native had a pair of match clinchers, against Montana State and UC Davis.
