SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis announced the signing of Sonja Hadjipavlou, a prep player from Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada.
"Santa Clara provides the perfect combination of strong academics and great tennis with an amazing team culture on a beautiful, sunny
campus," said Hadjipavlou. "Coming from the rainiest place in the world, I'm really excited to spend the next few years in California."
Hadjipavlou attended Eric Hamber Secondary School in Vancouver and won the British Columbia Provincial U16 doubles championship.
"I am delighted to welcome Sonja to our program," said Broncos head coach
Allie Will-Van Alstyne. "She brings great talent and promise, and we're looking forward to investing in her development and being part of her growth throughout this next chapter."
