SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara women's water polo has added a trio of transfers joining the team. Bella Adams and Tasaria Kilpatrick will join the Broncos from San Jose State and Laila Holloway will come over from Mount St. Mary's.
Bella Adams | 5-7 | ATK | Greenwich, Conn. | San Jose State
Adams spent the last two seasons as San Jose State. Last season she scored eight goals and added five assists. During the 2025 season, Adams scored nine times and added 12 assists.
Prior to joining the Spartans, Adams was at Iona. In 2024, she appeared in 29 matches and scored 16 goals on 59 shots with 25 assists. Adams also drew 22 exclusions and added 19 steals. She redshirted her freshman year.
Adams graduated from Convent of the Sacred Heart where she earned four letters and was a captain one season.
Tasaria Kilpatrick | 5-8 | ATK | San Jose, Calif. | San Jose State
Kilpatrick played the previous two years at San Jose State. Last season she appeared in 20 games and registered one assist. She did not see action as a freshman in 2025. She was named a 6-8 Sports/MPSF All-Academic Scholar-Athlete as well.
At Leland High School, she played water polo and swan all four years. Her water polo team won four BVAL Championships. Individually, she was the Presidential Award of Excellence and was a Golden State Seal Diploma Recipient.
Adams played for San Jose Almaden Club. The team finished second at the 2023 Junior Olympics 18 Gold Championship and was a USA Water Polo Academic All-America selection.
Laila Holloway | 5-9 | UT | Missouri City, Texas | Mount St. Mary's
Holloway scored one goal and drew two exclusions for Mount St. Mary's as a freshman last season.
During her time at Saint Agnes Academy, Holloway was named her team's MVP in 2024 and was a three-time TISCA All-State selection. In 2025, she was a USA Water Polo All-American and has also played for the ODP Southwest team.
