The Santa Clara University women's cross country team released its 2026 schedule Wednesday, full of challenging meets and key competitions.

The Broncos will kick off their season at the annual USF Invitational on Sept. 4, held at Golden Gate Park in San Francisco. A highlight of the season will be the team's journey to Chicago, where it will compete in the prestigious Sean Earl Lakefront Invitational on Sept. 25th. The Broncos return to the meet hosted by Loyola Chicago for the second year in a row after finishing 15th in 2025.

A crucial stretch of three California-based meets at season's end will test the Broncos, beginning with their own Bronco Invitational on Oct. 17 at Baylands Park in Sunnyvale. The team finished second at last year's event, anchored by a school-record victory by Milaina Almonte.

The Bronco Invitational will be followed by the 2026 West Coast Conference Championships on Oct. 30 in San Diego. The pivotal stretch culminates with the NCAA Division I Cross Country West Region Championship on Nov. 13 at Haggin Oaks Golf Course in Sacramento.

The season concludes at the NCAA Division I Cross Country National Championship on Nov. 21 in Terre Haute, Ind.
