SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's tennis assistant coach Connor Van Alstyne has been promoted to Associate Head Coach after helping the team qualify for the West Coast Conference Tournament last spring for first time since the 2017-18 season.

This past year, Van Alstyne completed his third season on the staff under head coach Allie Will-Van Alstyne during which time the program saw an eight-game improvement turning around a team that went winless prior to their arrival.

Santa Clara finished the 2026 spring campaign strong winning three of the four WCC matches over a five-day span to earn a sixth seed in the WCC Tournament.  Their four conference wins were the most since the 2016 spring season.
