Box Score 1 | Box Score 2 PRINCETON, N.J. - Santa Clara men's water polo completed their time in the Garden State by sweeping Saturday's matches against Bucknell and No. 18 Harvard to finish the Princeton Invitational a perfect 3-0 and improve to 5-1 on the season. 

Game 1 | #17 Santa Clara 16, Bucknell 9
The Broncos began the day with a 16-9 victory over Bucknell - a contest that was a tightly-fought for the first three periods before SCU ran away with it in the fourth. The game was 10-9 in the Broncos' favor following the third period buzzer, however six different Broncos scored unanswered points to stave off Bucknell's upset bid. Charlie Engs logged three goals and added a trio of steals while SCU also got multi-goal effort from Henry Engs, Ashton Brown, Riccardo De Simon and Jamie De Zwart. Harrison Labrosse got the starting nod in the net where he made 11 saves and had a pair steals.

Game 2 | #17 Santa Clara 13, #18 Harvard 11
Santa Clara picked up their first ranked win of the year thanks in part to a career-best effort from preseason All-WCC pick Riccardo De Simon, who logged a career-high seven goals to go with a pair of steals and a trio of drawn exclusions to power the Broncos to the 13-11 victory. Darion Wang and Luke Baird also found the back of the net twice. The Crimson held a slim 9-8 advantage going into the final period, but just like in the first match of the day, Santa Clara had the upper hand over the final eight minutes as they outscored Harvard 5-1 to pick up the win. Labrosse once again was in the net and logged 10 saves to go with a career-high five steals.

The Broncos will look to stay hot next weekend as they take part in the Overnght MPSF Invitational at Stanford.
