AS A FRESHMAN (2019-20): Competed in six tournaments with a pair of top 25 showings … posted a 73.94 scoring average … competing as an individual, tied for 25th at the Bill Cullum Invitational (Oct. 14-15) with a collegiate-best 2-under 214 (67-71-76) … his opening-round score was a collegiate best … tied for ninth at the Orange County Collegiate Classic (Feb. 10-11), posting a 6-over 222 (77-73-72).

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Torrey Pines High School (San Diego) … first team All-CIF in 2019 … played four years on the golf team … on the All-Academic team … posted a scoring average of 73.60 in 2018.

GET TO KNOW ALEX: Enjoys playing pickup basketball games at the local rec center and volunteering as a mentor for the San Dieguito Drug Free Youth program ... a communication major.
