Also led the team in rounds under par (17) and top-20 finishes (6) ... 17 rounds under par are tied for the sixth-most in program history ... Posted eight rounds in the 60s ... Took home fourth place twice, tying his career-best finish ... Opened the year with a fourth-place finish at the Palouse Collegiate, carding 11-under 65-70-67 ... AS A FRESHMAN (2024-25): Put together a phenomenal freshman campaign that culminated with him earning WCC Freshman of the Year and All-WCC honors ... Played in 11 events where he totaled the second-best scoring average on the team at 71.52 strokes ... Tied for second on the team with 15 rounds under par - tied for 10th-most in program history ... Was second on the team in both rounds in the 60s (10) and top-20 finishes (6) ... His 10 rounds in the 60s are tied for the seventh-most in program history ... Posted five top-10 finishes, with three coming in back-to-back-to-back events ... Shot a 8-under 208 for a season-best tie for fourth at the Nick Watney Invite ... Shot a career-low 11-under 69-67-69--205 to tie for fifth at the N.I.T. ... Was 3-under 213 to tie for fifth at the Leadership & Golf Collegiate ... Tied for eighth at both the John Burns Intercollegiate (4-under 206) and the Bridgestone Collegiate Invitational (3-under 213) ... Had a streak where he shot at par or better in 15 of 17 rounds ... Tied for 17th at The Lamkin at 4-under 212 ... Season-low round was a 6-under 66 in the second round of the Leadership & Golf Collegiate. 

AMATEUR/CLUB: Won the 2023 AJGA Natural Delights Junior Open ... Was a four-time winner on the Toyota Tour Cup ... 2022 Southern California PGA Foundation Award Winner ... Posted three top five finishes on the AJGA ... Qualified for the 2025 U.S. Amateur Championship. 

HIGH SCHOOL: Was the 2023 CIF Southern-Section Champion and posted the lowest score in the championship's history with a 62 - also a course record at River Ridge GC-Vineyard ... Was a four-time league champion at Warren High ... Holds the all-time single-season scoring average record at Warren High ... Two-year team captain ... Won the 2024 Golden Bear Statue, given to the top athlete for their achievements both athletically and in the classroom ... Finished in the top 10 of the 2022 CIF State Championship ... Graduated with Highest Honors and was a Distinguished Graduate ... AP Scholar with Distinction. 

GET TO KNOW MATT: Is a fourth degree brown belt in Taekwondo, and is currently in the process of testing for black belt ... Helps teach Taekwondo classes in his spare time ... Enjoys dabbling in photography.
