AT SANTA CLARA: Joined the Broncos in 2025 and played in one match (3/29 vs. Pacific).

AS A FRESHMAN (2025): Played in one match vs. Pacific (3/29) recording a 21-8, 21-16 victory at the No. 5 spot with partner Alex Franklin.

HIGH SCHOOL: Balsdon was a first team all-league player for The Bishop's School's indoor volleyball team, and earned the school's Class of 2024 "Head of School" Award … She won Coastal League championships with Bishop's School in 2021 and '23 … She also landed on the Varsity Classic All-Tournament team as a senior last fall (2023).
 
Balsdon had plenty of success playing club beach volleyball with Wave Beach … She earned first place at the JVA Club vs. Club competition and a third-place showing at the BVCA's Club vs. Club tournament in 2023 … Balsdon grabbed a runner-up showing at the Seaside Beach Nationals 18 Open earlier this year (2024).

GET TO KNOW ANNA: Anna is from La Jolla, Calif. Her father, Ed Balsdon played D1 baseball at Holy Cross (1990-93). Among the many accomplished athletes in my mother’s family are my second cousins Kiki Vandeweghe, NBA player (1980-1993, Nuggets, Trailblazers, Nicks, Clippers) ; Bruk Vandeweghe, member of the AVP (1988-1997) ; and Coco Vandeweghe, professional tennis player (2008-2023).
