AT SANTA CLARA: Joined the Broncos in 2025 ... Compiled a 13-18 record as a freshman at the No. 4 and No. 5 spots earning All-WCC Freshman Team Honors.
AS A FRESHMAN (2025):Â Chillingworth played in 31-of-36 matches for the Broncos this season at the No. 4 and No. 5 spots ... She put together a 13-18 record including a 4-0 record in conference play ... Her best weekend came at the West Coast Challenge where her duo went 4-0, defeating the University of San Francisco (21-12, 21-12), University of Portland (21-7, 21-12), and twice defeated University of Pacific (21-9, 21-8) and (21-17 and 21-12) ... She went 3-3 at the WCC Championship with her partner Teagan Wilson with victories over USF twice and Pepperdine, helping the Broncos to a second place finish in the conference, their best in program history ... All-WCC Freshman Team selection.
HIGH SCHOOL: From O‘ahu, Hawai‘i, Chillingworth was a multi-sport athlete at Punahou School, competing in indoor volleyball, beach volleyball, and track and field. She played club indoor volleyball for Spike and Serve (2020-2022) and club beach volleyball for Outrigger Canoe Club and Secret Training Beach (2020-2024). In 2024, Kawena won the AAU Hawai‘i State Beach Volleyball Championship and was honored with the Judge Wilford D. Godbold Award, as well as the Ambassador of Aloha recognition from the Duke Foundation.
GET TO KNOW KAWENA: A member of the Leavey School of Business, Kawena enjoys surfing, hiking, and camping in her free time. Her father, Brant Chillingworth, played volleyball at UCSB (1992-1996), and her cousin, Grace Chillingworth, currently plays indoor volleyball at Pepperdine.
