AT SANTA CLARA: Joined the Broncos in 2025 ... Put together a 9-13 record as a freshman and earned All-WCC Second Team and All-WCC Freshman team selections.
AS A FRESHMAN (2025): Sadie  put together a stellar freshman season for the Broncos compiling a 9-13 record, playing in 22-of-36 duals this season at the No. 1 and No. 2 spots ... She went 3-3 in the WCC Championship with her partner Sammy Wood, defeating USF twice, and Saint Mary’s, helping the Broncos to a runner-up finish in the conference, their best in program history.
HIGH SCHOOL:Â As a three-year starting OH, Snipes helped lead The Branson School to the 2022 California Division 1 State Championship. While at Branson, Snipes was 1st team all-league in 2023, 2nd team all-league in 2022, league and section champions in 2022 and 2023, Durango Classic team MVP and all-tournament team in 2023, beach volleyball section champions in 2022, and led the team in hitting percentage in 2022 and 2023.
On the sand Snipes finished 9th at AAU Nationals in 2020 and 2022, 1st at the Monterey Beach Volleyball Open in 2023, and 3rd at CBVA Cal Cup in 2023 (with Santa Clara teammate Sammy Wood).
Sadie was a National Merit Commended Scholar and Merit Photo recognition winner for artwork displayed in the Rising Stars gallery exhibition.
GET TO KNOW SADIE: Sadie is a member of the SCU College of Arts and Sciences as a Chemistry major. Her sister (Elsa Snipes) currently plays D1 beach volleyball at Arizona State University, her Mom (Mara Snipes) ran track and cross country at Michigan 4 years, and Dad (Richard Snipes) played men’s volleyball at UNC 4 years, and both parents are ultramarathon runners.
