AS A SOPHOMORE (2023-24): Played in just one event - the Silicon Valley Showcase where she tied for 37th with an 80-75-83--238. 

AS A FRESHMAN 2022-23): Appeared in three events in her first year with the squad ... Finished the year on a great note as Santa Clara's top performer at the WCC Championship where she tied for 10th at 4-over 73-72-75--220 ... Averaged 75.44 strokes per round in her three appearances.

HIGH SCHOOL: Attended Kalani High School in Hawai'i ... Was a three-time Hawai'i State Junior Golf Association Player of the Year Award in 2015, 2016 and 2018 ... Was also the 2017 Oahu Junior Golf Association Player of the Year ... Five-time qualifier for the IMG Junior World Championship (2015-19) ... Served as team captain of her school's team and helped lead them to the 2022 OIA team championship title and a runner-up finish for the state championship ... Had a single-round low of 67. 

GET TO KNOW RACHAEL: Plans on majoring in psychology ... Parents are Shiho and George Wang ... Has a brother, Lancelot ... Had a 4.08 unweighted GPA and was on the honor roll all four years of high school ... Seal of Biliteracy - AP Chinese ... Was an honor graduate ... Volunteered at the Buddhist Tzu Chi Foundation and served as a youth leader for their community service and leadership program ... Also did community service work with a clothing and book drive for homeless children, beach clean-ups and waste reduction efforts ... Enjoys going to the beach and hanging out with her friends.
