AS A FRESHMAN IN 2005-06: Joined the tennisteam midseason, providing the team with depth in both singles anddoubles... competed in exhibition matches during the dual matchseason... also on the Santa Clara volleyball team... Recorded fourdigs and one ace against California (11/15)... Came off the benchin victories over Portland (11/4) and Gonzaga (11/5)... Recorded acareer high seven digs against Stony Brook (9/24)... Played in onegame against UC Irvine (9/3).  

HIGH SCHOOL: A 2005 graduate of Punahou HighSchool in Honolulu, Hawaii... coached by Scott Rigg... volleyballteam won state and Interscholastic League of Honolulu championshipstwo straight years... received All-IHL and honorable mentionAll-State as a senior... played club for both the Rainbows andQuicksets... Placed ninth at Davis Festival with the Rainbows...also a member of the tennis and track teams... placed sixth in thestate for tennis in the 16U division... qualified for state meet inthe 200m, 400m and 4x400m events... a volunteer at Headstart, anelementary education program for families in need.
