Santa Clara, '09

Allie Lamb joined the Santa Clara women's water polo staff as a volunteer assistant coach prior to the start at the 2022 season and was promoted to full-time assistant coach in April at the conclusion of the season. She is in her third year as head coach Claire Linney's full-time assistant in 2024-25.

Over the course of four seasons, Lamb has helped Linney guide the program to 31 victories. That includes the team's first 10-win season in five years in 2023. Santa Clara collected five all-Golden Coast Conference awards during Lamb's tenure, including two in 2025 -- the first time the team earned multiple all-conference awards since 2021.

Lamb was also integral in helping push the Broncos' success in the classroom. Santa Clara had a record 17 student-athletes named to the 2024 GCC All-Academic Team. The Broncos collected 15 All-Academic honors from the Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches in 2024 as well.

Lamb joined the Broncos after serving as the head varsity and junior varsity water polo coach at The Harker School from 2010-20.

A 2009 graduate of Santa Clara University, Lamb was a member of the Broncos' water polo team from 2006-09. As a senior in 2009, she served as team captain and helped guide the team to their first-ever second-place finish in the league. She returned to the Broncos for the 2010 season as a volunteer assistant coach while working toward a graduate degree in Multiple Subject Credential with CLAD emphasis.

Lamb earned her Masters of Education from Concordia University Irvine in 2018.
