Biography

AS A FRESHMAN IN 2004-05: Competed for BernieOrwig at UC Berkeley but got injured and sat out the entireseason.

HIGH SCHOOL: Played for David Towle and GeraldMacedo at Archbishop Mitty... high school team considered among thetop four squads in the Central Coast Section throughout her prepcareer... led her team to a second-place finish at the CCSchampionships during the 2002-03 season... captured the BlossomValley Athletic League title in 2001-02 and finished as therunners-up in 2003-04... named the team MVP in 2002-03... earnedAll-CCS and All-BVAL honors last three years at Mitty.

PERSONAL: Parents are Ed and Jane Barrantes...has one brother named Chris (22)... enjoys swimming and reading...after graduation, would like to go into publishing children'sliterature.
