James is in his second year as a Media Relations Graduate Assistant. In addition to his role within the athletics department, James is currently taking classes for a Master of Arts program in Applied Psychology at Santa Clara.
James is originally from Gilbert, Ariz. and recently graduated from UC Irvine with a bachelors degree in Business Economics and Literary Journalism. During his time at UCI, James was a Marketing Intern for UC Irvine Athletics as well as a student reporter for the school newspaper, the New University, for all four years of his college career.
An avid Arizona sports fan, James was president of the UC Irvine Sports Business Association his junior and senior year, and also worked as a Marketing and PR Specialist for a local professional soccer team, Orange County Soccer Club.
