Kelly Frumkin is in her first year as Director of Academic Services at Santa Clara University in 2026-27. She currently serves as the academic advisor for men’s cross country and track & field, men’s and women’s water polo, women’s tennis, and women’s volleyball. Frumkin is passionate about Santa Clara’s mission and its commitment to caring for the whole person, which drives her work in supporting student-athletes throughout their academic development.
Prior to joining Athletics, Frumkin spent three and a half years overseeing the recreation center at Santa Clara. A proud “Super Bronco,” she earned her bachelor’s degree in Economics and Psychology from Santa Clara in 2021, a master’s degree in Business Analytics in 2022, and most recently, a master’s degree in Sports Business in 2026.
Frumkin was also a five-year member of the Santa Clara women’s water polo team, serving as team captain for two seasons and as co-president of the Student-Athlete Advisory Committee (SAAC) during her fifth year. Her experience as a Bronco student-athlete gives her a unique perspective in helping current student-athletes navigate their own Santa Clara experience and prepare for life beyond graduation.
Originally from Oak Park, Ill., Frumkin currently resides in San Jose with her fiancée, Emily. Outside of work, she enjoys swimming, coaching youth water polo, and spending time with friends and family.
