Santa Clara University

Kevin Alana is in his sixth year at Santa Clara University, serving as one of the Assistant Athletics Directors of Sports Medicine with Men's Basketball as his primary sport assignment. Before being hired in 2020, he worked at High Point University as an assistant athletic trainer, responsible for the volleyball team's medical care and injury prevention.

An East Tennessee State University graduate, Kevin received a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education with a concentration in Exercise Science. He went on to Boston University, where he earned a Master's of Science in Athletic Training. While at BU, he had clinical rotations at MIT, Boston University, Minnesota United FC, and Northeastern University and spent time here at Santa Clara. In addition to his clinical rotations, Kevin
volunteered as part of the medical staff for the Boston Marathon for his two years in Boston.

Born and raised in Morristown, Tenn., Alana enjoys soccer, golf, video games, weight lifting, mountain biking, backpacking, and snowboarding. He resides in Santa Clara with his dog, Cooper, and is an avid Boston Celtics and Arsenal fan.
