Women's Water Polo Claims 6-3 Victory Over Fresno Pacific

FRESNO, Calif. - Santa Clara women's water polo earned their third-straight victory of the year with a 6-3 win over the Fresno Pacific Sunbirds in Fresno.

The Sunbirds (4-16) scored the first goal of the game and secured a 2-1 lead in the first period, however Lauren Baglietto scored in the second period to the tie the game 2-2 at the half.

Elle Fredrickson, Lauren Voss, and Kelly Frumkin each had a goal in the second half to help the Broncos secure their second win over the Sunbirds this season.

Liyara Senadheera posted 10 saves for the Broncos, holding Fresno Pacific to just three goals.

The Broncos (6-11) are on a three-game win streak heading into their next matchup against San Jose State on Tuesday.
