SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Santa Clara women's basketball topped CSU Monterey Bay 82-38 in an exhibition in Leavey Center to get the 2023-24 season going. The Broncos were in control the whole way, holding a double-figure advantage from early in the first quarter.
 
NOTABLE NUMBERS:

• Ten Broncos saw minutes in the game with eight scoring and making at least one field goal. Four players finished the night in double-figures.
• A pair had double-digit rebounding performances with one collecting a double-double.
• As a team, Santa Clara dished out 24 assists with two players adding six each and another with five.
• The Broncos shot 55.2-percent from the floor and 45.0-percent from beyond the arc.
• They forced 18 turnovers and collected seven steals.
