RIVERSIDE, Calif.  – No. 16 Santa Clara men's water polo put and end to their three-game losing skid on Friday by routing Redlands in a 16-5 final at the Lancer Aquatics Center on day one of the Joust Invitational. The win provides some big momentum as the Broncos gear up for two more games on Saturday. 
 
HOW IT HAPPENED:

• Santa Clara (7-6, 0-1) jumped out to a big lead early at 8-2 at the half and 12-3 after three quarters. 
• Gavin Fisher had a banner day, scoring a career-high five goals and tallying an assist and steal. 
• Goalkeeper Harrison Labrosse allowed just five goals while making seven blocks. 
• Eight different Broncos found the back of the net. John Shepherd tallied his first career hat trick and Zach Fales added a pair of goals to his season-leading tally.
