Marlee Nicolos was named the
West Coast Conference Defensive Player of the Week on Monday.

Nicolos captained the defense in the Broncos 4-0 win over the Gaels on October 4 to move to 2-0 in conference play and 9-2-2 overall this season. She has started nine matches and posted a 0.69 GAA with 22 saves for a .786 save percentage. In addition to four solo shutouts, Nicolos shared another.

This is the second WCC Defensive Player of the Week nod of her career. She was also honored October 31 of last year after making a career-high 12 saves in shutting out BYU in Provo.
