SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball has officially added the first member of ther 2024 signing class. Allen Graves, a forward from Ponchatoula, La., signed his official letter of intent to play with the Broncos on Wednesday. Head Coach Herb Sendek made the announcement.

"We are thrilled to have Allen sign with the Broncos!" Sendek said. "He is a perfect fit for our program. Allen is an amazing young man and a tremendous young player. Our Bronco Family will enjoy watching and rooting for Allen, as he displays his versatile skill set and winning ways."

Graves is a 6-foot-9 forward who plays for Ponchatoula High School. He posted some great numbers as a sophomore, averaging 12 points, eight rebounds, two blocks and two assists per game en route to earning second team all-district honors.. However, it was his junior season that really saw a huge bump in production. The big man averaged a double-double of 20 points and 15 rebounds per game, in addition to three blocks and six assists per outing. Graves was an all-state performer and led Ponchatoula High to the Division 1 non-select state championship title. He was outstanding in the championship game against New Iberia, posting 23 points and 16 rebounds to earn Most Outstanding Player honors. At season's end, he earned spots on both the first team all-state and all-district teams.

Graves comes from a very talented basketball family. His brother, Marshall, was a four-year player at guard for the LSU Tigers from 2017-20, and his sister, Amoura, is currently in her third season at Auburn University.
