SANTA CLARA, Calif. - Santa Clara men's basketball is looking to get back on track after a two-game losing skid to open the month of December. After dropping a road contest at Cal and neutral-site showdown against New Mexico, the Broncos are returning to the comfort of the Leavey Center to take on Utah State for a 7:00 p.m. tip on Wednesday, Dec. 13. The game will be streamed live on ESPN+. 

Santa Clara (7-3) has just two home games during December. Following Wednesday's game, the Broncos will play their final nonconference game of the year on Dec. 30 against Yale. Before then lies neutral site games against Washington State (Phoenix) and Duquesne (Las Vegas), and a road game against San Jose State. 

Utah State is 9-1 and riding an 8-game win streak. The Aggies, led by first-year head coach Danny Sprinkle, feature one of the nation's top offenses led by Montana State transfer Great Osobor (19.5 ppg, 9.1 rpg). They currently lead the nation in shooting percentage (53.2 percent) and are 18th in scoring margin (17.5) while averaging 83.9 ppg (second-best in the Mountain West Conference). Utah State also plays great defense allowing just 65.4 ppg and are holding opponents to just 27.9 percent shooting from 3-point range (31st nationally). 

The Broncos and Aggies will be facing each other for the 11th time overall and for the second-straight season. Utah State won 96-74 in Logan, Utah last season and lead the all-time series 7-3. Santa Clara is looking for their first win over the Aggies since Dec. 23, 2006 - a 77-75 overtime thriller in the Leavey Center.
