SAN MATEO, Calif. – No. 19 Santa Clara women's soccer was picked to win its fourth consecutive
West Coast Conference title in a poll of the league's nine head coaches, receiving the maximum 64 points.
Colby Barnett,
Annie Karich, and
Sally Menti were also named to the Preseason All-WCC team.

Barnett tied for the team lead a season ago with eight assists while scoring twice for 12 points. She was named
Second Team All-West Region and Second Team All-WCC for her performance.

Karich was named the
WCC Freshman of the Year, First Team All-WCC, and WCC All-Freshman as well as Second Team All-West Region. She tied with Barnett with eight assists.

Menti missed the entire 2022 season with an ACL injury. The 2020 WCC Freshman of the Year last saw action during the 2021 campaign where she scored a goal and had two assists for four points.
