SOUTH SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – Santa Clara women's soccer had six players honored by the conference for their work in the classroom as part of the WCC All-Academic teams. Colby Barnett, Lia Henkelmann, Lucy Mitchell, Leah O'Brien, Addie Whitehouse, and Malia Yamamoto were named honorable mention on Friday.
 
Barnett is a Psychology major with a 3.549 GPA. She was honorable mention last year as well. Earlier this week, Barnett was named First Team All-WCC.
 
Henkelmann is majoring in Psychology and has a 3.80 GPA.
 
Mitchell is working on a graduate degree in Marketing and has a 3.500 GPA in the program. She was also honorable mention in 2021 and 2023. This season Mitchell was named All-WCC honorable mention.
 
O'Brien has a 3.740 GPA as a Biology major. This is her second consecutive year being named honorable mention.
 
Whitehouse is a Business major with a 3.975 GPA. She was All-WCC honorable mention this season.
 
Yamamoto is majoring in Finance and has a 3.974 GPA.
